i want to give a shout out to whoever visited my blog from…

macmillan/mcgraw-hill publishing!  thank you for making your name famous in my brain while i stared at the spines of my textbooks for 22 years.  you produced some good ones.

  2. I agree. It is hilarious and terrifying. But it does make me giggle that there are some (lots of) “lurkers” who think they’re being sneaky by not commenting, but I know who they are!

  4. my dad worked for mcgraw hill for 25 years. I know mcgraw hill quite well. on another note – how do you find out all that info on who visits your blog?

  5. I use statistical tracking software from Google Analytics (google.com/analytics) and StatCounter (www.statcounter.com). Both are free and track all of the things you see listed in that box (and more, actually). It’s pretty easy to implement and gives you a great idea of how people are being referred to your site, how often they visit, where they’re from, etc. I love it!
