the end of the weekend.

Happy Sunday night! Hope that you’re in your PJ’s snuggled up on your couch… with your laptop in your lap, of course. Really utilizing it as a lap…top.

Ahem.

Anyway, we have had a full but relaxing weekend. Friday night, Kris took me to dinner at Ruby Tuesday’s. At the mall. Oh yes. I’m telling you, the mall is where it’s at on a Friday night in Florence. We had so much fun watching people. We made up their life stories and wondered if they just crawled out of the sticks. (If you aren’t familiar with “the sticks,” that could be referring to any number of small towns around Florence, namely Cades, Quinby, Camp Branch, etc.) Then, I got the new Lucky magazine for March at Barnes & Noble and I luuuuuuurve the Spring fashion trends. (This was a special treat because the only magazine I get nowadays is the J. Crew catalogue.)

Saturday, we slept in a little (9 a.m.!) and then I got dressed and took my mom over to Laurie Beth’s for some nursery decorating advice. See, my mom is like, the bomb at interior design. And Laurie Beth and I needed tips. So she schooled us!

Yesterday afternoon, we attended a birthday party for our mini-nextdoor neighbor, Sunshine. It was a “Mishmash Crafty Bash” and we enjoyed watching the kiddos make pirate hats, princess tiaras, drawings, and frames. (I also enjoyed the chocolate-covered pretzel sticks.) Then, Mom and Dad had us over for steaks.

We were at church for like, the entire day today. I’m leading the Jr. High girls small group which is FUN!

I feel like I just word vomited to you what happened over my weekend. But I cannot be creative and tell you any funny stories because there aren’t any to tell. EXCEPT FOR BIG NEWS THAT KRIS SHAVED HIS BEARD TONIGHT.

GLORY!
